In order to raise awareness of the persecution of Falun Gong and the Chinese Communist Party’s crime of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners for profit, practitioners from Queensland organized activities in front of the Supreme Court to expose the CCP’s atrocities.
A 45-page investigative report was released today in North America that addresses allegations of organ harvesting from Falun Gong detainees. Coauthored by former Canadian Secretary of State (Asia-Pacific) David Kilgour and human rights attorney David Matas, the report draws “the regrettable conclusion that the allegations are true.”
“The very horror makes us reel back in disbelief,” the report says. “But that disbelief does not mean that the allegations are untrue.”
A respected Canadian human rights lawyer and a former Canadian cabinet member lent their weight on Thursday to charges that China has been killing Falun Gong dissidents so it can use their organs.
Monday 3rd July 2006, ten school students from Sydney will spend their school holidays on a car tour from Sydney to Melbourne to raise awareness of the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China.
Former director of the Asian Pacific Division of Canada’s Foreign Affairs Ministry Mr. David Kilgour talked with Chinese Embassy officials on Friday, June 23, 2006 about entering China to investigate the CCP’s live organ removal from Falun Gong practitioners. The Chinese official was evasive and dodged responsibility.
Prior to Australian Prime Minister Howard’s upcoming state visit to China, several hundred Falun Gong practitioners and representatives from the “Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong” (CIPFG) gathered in front of Parliament House to peacefully appeal.
