(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners participated in the annual LiveLighter Canning Show held at the Cannington Exhibition Centre & Showgrounds in Perth on November 5, 2022.

They introduced Falun Dafa, demonstrated the exercises and taught them free of charge. They also gave a waist drum performance onstage.

Many people were interested in practicing Falun Dafa and asked for more information. Some said that Falun Dafa brings beauty to mankind while others condemned the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and called for an end to the persecution.

“I feel peaceful and calm here.”

Adila Ammar and her husband stopped by the practitioners’ booth and said, “I feel peaceful and calm here.” After they read the information and talked with practitioners they expressed an interest in learning Falun Dafa.

Adila said, “Falun Dafa’s principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance have brought faith, peace and sincerity to humankind. This is beneficial to any religion and faith. It brings people together and brings beauty to the world.”

When she learned about the persecution, Adila said, “Falun Dafa brings beauty to humankind. The CCP should never have persecuted practitioners.”

Practitioners were invited to demonstrate the Falun Dafa exercises on stage.

“I feel energy emitting from me when I practice the exercises.”

Geraldine enjoyed the waist drum performance. When practitioners demonstrated the exercises on stage, she copied their movements. Afterwards she came to the booth and did them with practitioners. She said, “I felt as if I’ve entered another dimension while I practice the exercises. I feel energy emitting from me when I practice the exercises.”

She condemned the CCP when she was told about the ongoing persecution. “Everyone should have the right to lead a peaceful life.”

Meena Bajaj and her child stopped by practitioners’ booth and expressed an interest in Falun Dafa. “I realised Falun Dafa is very helpful because it can bring a healthy and natural way of life to people. I would like to lead this kind of healthy lifestyle. This is why I am interested in it.” After receiving a truth-clarification flyer, Meena stated that she will learn more about Falun Dafa when she goes home.

Some people were interested in Falun Dafa after watching practitioners demonstrate the exercises. They said they wished to elevate their character and wanted to benefit the environment and the people around them.

Jan Dopal said, “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is what we have been yearning for.”

“The persecution of Falun Dafa should most definitely be stopped!”

After watching practitioners demonstrate the exercises Gary Whitby wanted to learn more about Falun Dafa. While chatting with practitioners he learned about the persecution and said that this was the first time he’s heard about the brutal persecution. He wanted to learn more about the persecution and also said that the persecution should be stopped immediately.

His wife, Ann Whitby, stressed, “The persecution of Falun Dafa should most definitely be stopped!”

Ann enjoyed the waist drum performances and said, “It was amazing!” She also stated that it was a good way to spread the truth of Falun Dafa by participating in the Canning Show.

Their daughter, Julie Manchin, said, “The CCP’s persecution of Falun Dafa is extremely disturbing. The principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance are what we need, especially during times like these. This world is still very far away from these principles. We need to treat each other with more compassion.”

Brooke Dymock and her daughter, Bella, stopped by practitioners’ booth. Brooke said, “The CCP and its persecution on Falun Dafa makes one disgusted. I do not like people treating my daughter, myself or anyone else like that.”

“The world needs Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. There is too much hatred going on. The only way to change it is for everyone to be respectful of each other.”

Brooke Dymock said she was disgusted by the CCP and its persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners.

 

Background: What Is Falun Dafa and Why Is the CCP Persecuting It?

Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) was first introduced to the public by Mr. Li Hongzhi in Changchun, China, in 1992. The spiritual discipline is now practiced in over 100 countries and regions worldwide.

Millions of people who have embraced the teachings, which are based on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, and have learned the five exercises, have experienced improved health and well-being.

Jiang Zemin, former head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), perceived the spiritual discipline’s growing popularity as a threat to the CCP’s atheistic ideology and on July 20, 1999, he issued an order to eradicate the practice.

Under Jiang’s personal direction, the CCP established the 610 Office, an extralegal security organisation with the power to override the police and judicial systems and whose sole function is to carry out the persecution of Falun Dafa.

Minghui.org has confirmed the deaths of thousands of practitioners as a result of the persecution over the past 23 years. The actual number is believed to be much higher. Countless practitioners have been imprisoned and tortured for their faith.

There is concrete evidence that the CCP sanctions the harvesting of organs from detained practitioners, who are murdered to supply China’s organ transplant industry.
