(Minghui.org) The New York-based Shen Yun Performing Arts presented three performances at the Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on December 3 and 4, 2021.
“Very Powerful, Very Moving”
Claude Balestra, Vice President of Finance Transformation Lead at Cargill, saw Shen Yun with Marianna Pavan, an engineer, at the Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis on December 4.
“Very powerful, very moving, very peaceful,” Mr. Balestra said.
“I felt it was really magical because of the way they dance and the way they use the fabric to dance and create all the flow of the movement. I thought it was beautiful. And the music was really beautiful.”
He said he was particularly impressed by the erhu, also known as the Chinese “two-stringed violin.”
“That was very amazing to see the two-stringed instrument do all that,” he said.
Ms. Pavan said she found Shen Yun equally amazing.
“I loved the dancers, loved the songs, different performances,” she said. “It was just very peaceful and very calming, and it was a celebration [of life] at the same time.”
