(Minghui.org) The annual Dandelion Festival is held in Durango, Colorado every year in the month of May. The event used to be a celebration of spring and sustainability. It has now become a festival where one hears live music and sees many different vendors.

Falun Dafa practitioners participated in the festival on May 1 of this year. They set up a booth and introduced Falun Dafa to locals. In addition, practitioners also distributed truth-clarification brochures and raised awareness of Falun Dafa’s persecution, and the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) organ harvesting from living practitioners in China.

The local community in Durango also invited practitioners to demonstrate Falun Dafa exercises to the public. Locals who used to participate at the Falun Dafa group practice site helped practitioners set up the booth and even helped clarify the truth to people about Dafa.

Many expressed their gratitude to practitioners for raising awareness of the CCP’s ongoing persecution. Some expressed an interest in participating at the local group practice site. A family with two young children inquired more about Falun Dafa and the two children had the opportunity to learn the meditation practice.
