On the afternoon of September 2nd a criminal lawsuit against Jia Qinglin was filed in the “Audiencia Nacional” of the National Spanish Court system, in Madrid, Spain. Jia Qinglin was accused of the crimes of genocide and tortures against practitioners of Falun Gong in China.
The thirty-two-year-old Austrian of Chinese descent has serious problems: At the beginning of July, he applied for a passport extension at the Chinese Consulate in Vienna, but was refused. He was informed verbally that this decision was made because he is a Falun Gong practitioner, but a written refusal was not granted.
