35-year-old Ms. Li Huiqi was tortured for two months in a Chinese Labor Camp, leaving her paralyzed and emaciated.
Jane Dai is an Australian-Chinese widow and mother to her almost 3 year-old daughter. Jane Dai’s husband was tortured to death in China in 2001 because he practiced Falun Gong and had appealed to the Chinese government to stop killing and persecuting innocent people.
She was arrested when she went to Tiananmen Square alone. Because she was registered as living in Shiyan, she was immediately sent to Xiajiadian Labour Camp (a rehabilitation centre) in Shiyan, Wuhan City.
