SYDNEY (FDI)- On March 18th, during the United Nations 59th Human Rights meeting, a Swiss attorney announced plans to launch a lawsuit against Jiang Zemin for torture, crimes against humanity and genocide if the former Chinese leader ever visits Switzerland.

For more than three years, the Falun Dafa Information Center has received — on a daily basis — dozens of reports of arbitrary detention, forced-labor, extortion, torture, death and other forms of persecution against Falun Gong practitioners in China.

In the 12 days from the first to the 12th of March, reports of 38 deaths due to persecution have come from China. None of these practitioners had the benefit of any legal procedures.
UK Falun Gong practitioner Lili Lin, after being imprisoned for 15 days in a deportation centre by the UK Home Office, was released around 2pm on March 14th. She left the deportation centre at London Gatwick Airport and is now back home in Liverpool.
