A few days ago, one of my classmates studying in the United States brought back a science video entitled “The Mysterious Origins of Man”. I was deeply touched after watching it.
This unfortunate couple has suffered brutal persecution while in China for practicing Falun Gong and luckily made it to Australia alive to tell the tragic story.
In my opinion, there are two unbreakable precepts for scientists. First, matter has a material existence. Second, objective and repeatable experiments are the decisive standards in testing scientific truth.
I am writing to you as a representative of the Friends of Falun Gong in Ireland to express extreme concern for the safety of Mr. Wang Juntao (66) and his wife Mrs. Wang Liluan (62), who are due to be deported back to China.
To my understanding of Falun Gong, when a practitioner follows the right teachings, miracles can happen. Practitioners begin to become fully aware of their personal and ethical shortcomings, and make improvements. They begin to understand how to live a truly meaningful life, and for this they are rewarded.
In October 1998, some physicians at China Union Medical University did a large-scale survey among more than 10,000 Falun Dafa practitioners in Beijing regarding their health status. The results showed that 99.1% of Falun Dafa practitioners improved their health after practice.
I have noticed recently that a story is unfolding, which given the current course of events may result in the incarceration and deaths of a number of innocent people.
DIMIA insisted that ordinary Falun Gong practitioners would not be persecuted; however the couple had been persecuted before they came to Australia. Furthermore, one of their family members has been persecuted to death, and another one was sentenced to forced labour camp.
As an Australian citizen and Falun Dafa practitioner I would like to express
my concern in regards to the Australian governments position on Falun Dafa.
We, Falun Dafa practitioners from Victoria, respectfully request your urgent attention to the plight of Mr. and Mrs. Wang who were near to being deported back to China yesterday in Sydney. Since they practice Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) they would face persecution for their practice.
The Falun Dafa Association of New South Wales says a Chinese couple who are
being deported from Australia will certainly suffer persecution when they
return to their homeland.
We respectfully request your urgent attention to the plight of Mr. and Mrs. Wang who were near to being deported back to China this morning in Sydney, where they would face persecution for their practice of Falun Gong.
