The assailants were described as ethnic Chinese, all wearing suits, and driven by car and van to the scene of the crime; photo evidence has confirmed these descriptions.
December 10, 2005, was International Human Rights Day. On this day, opposite the Chinese Embassy in Thailand, police interfered with a group of Falun Gong practitioners peacefully protesting there. The Thai police were incited to do so by Chinese Embassy officials. The practitioners’ human rights were seriously abused.
