On Saturday night of November 13th 2004, Australian Falun Dafa practitioners gathered in front of the Chinese Embassy in Canberra to call for the trial of the instigator of this persecution, Jiang Zemin, and his perpetrators Luo Gan, Liu Jing and Zhou Yongkang, according to the law.

The Waverly Council is hosting a series of events to bring attention to the hardships suffered by refugees who are escaping persecution in their homelands. This year’s theme at Bondi Pavilion is focusing on oppression suffered by Falun Gong practitioners in China.
The Sydney University Falun Dafa Club took part in a food fair for the University’s Multicultural Day earlier this month. The club provided traditional Chinese dumplings and egg-tarts for the students, and performed a demonstration of the Falun Dafa exercises.
On Saturday 25th of September Falun Dafa in the Southern Highlands New South Wales Australia held a Hongfa and Parade for Bowral Tulip Time, which is a spring garden festival draws tens of thousands of tourists (including from China).
In the last few days the University of Western Sydney’s Falun Dafa Club
held a floral tribute to remember the 1,000 Falun Dafa practitioners who had been
tortured to death in China, during the last five years of persecution.

This was the 100th year anniversary for the city of Toowoomba, Queenslands Premier Mr Peter Beattie attended the festivities and was a guest of honour at the parade.
