On July 19-20, Melbourne Falun Dafa practitioners held a series of activities. When the “Court of Justice” set up on Federal Plaza in downtown sentenced Jiang for crimes against humanity and genocide, the audience gave their warm applause.
On July 19, 2003, Dafa practitioners from across South East Queensland converged in capital city Brisbane to hold a series of activities to peacefully protest Chinese regime’s four-year persecution of Falun Gong.
People think the freedom of news, religion and assembly must be protected, the policy of One country, Two systems must be protected and the concept of freedom and democracy must be protected. Hong Kong citizens will reject any forms of legislation under basic law article 23.
Practitioners from southeast Queensland, held a rally against Article 23 and a public mock trial of former Chinese President in front of Town Hall in Brisbane.
The “Breaking The Great Wall of Silence – Global Effort Against Article 23 of Hong Kong” gathering took place today in Sydney to raise public awareness of the impact of the current draft of Article 23, and to support Hong Kong citizens’ July 1st Grand March.
“We wholeheartedly support you in your campaign and will work to ensure that we all live in a world where compassion, truth and forbearance are the paradigm.”
Falun Gong practitioners ,we know, are not merely detained in Chinese prisons. They are undergoing torture and beatings. And we also know that the Amnesty Year Book records that some 500 had died in custody by the end of last year.

On June 15, 2003, Victoria Province Falun Dafa Association held a press conference in front of the Chinese Consulate General in Melbourne, Australia, to release the latest progress of the lawsuit against Jiang in the US and to express their support for the case.
On the morning of June 12, practitioners held Marrickville Falun Dafa Week at a square located in the center of the city. Mr Anthony Albanese MP, Minister for Ageing and Seniors and Mr. Stephen Sim, Host of 2NSB Radio, co-hosted the opening ceremony and gave speeches.
On June 14, Falun Dafa practitioners from South Australia held activities in Victoria Square of the City of Adelaide, capital of South Australia Province to support bringing dictator Jiang to justice.
