Young practitioners hoped that the van tour would raise awareness about the children in China who lost their parents during the persecution of Falun Gong. Many newspaper, TV stations and radio stations interviewed the group and reported on the van tour.
Mayor CR Joe Natoli of Maroochy Shire Council, Australia, wrote a statement in support of the Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China (CIPFG) and its investigative teams formed around the world to go to China.
Singtao Daily deleted the wrong report from its website and posted a correction notice on December 20, Tuesday. The Notice states, “Through investigation, it should be that the Judge ruled Downer pays the $20,000 lawsuit cost. This newspaper specially makes this correction and apologizes for any consequences.”
In a letter to Australian citizen Chen Muhan, the Australian Foreign Affair Department expressed their concern about Ms. Chen’s mother, Ms. Zeng Aihua, a Falun Gong practitioner and resident of Hong Kong, who is illegally jailed in Shanghai.
A parade and rally were held in Melbourne to support 16 million withdrawals from the Chinese Communist Party and its related organizations. Falun Gong practitioners attended the activity and exposed the persecution against Falun Gong to the public.
Guangdong Province is one of the most severe provinces in China in persecuting Falun Gong. Since July 20, 1999, Chen Shaoji actively participated in the persecution when he was Secretary of Guangdong Political and Judicial Committee and Director of the Provincial Bureau of Public Safety.

Australia: CIPFG Writes to Chinese Consul General, Requesting Facilitation of Investigation in China
CIPFG in Victoria, wrote to Liang Shugen, the Chinese Consul in Melbourne, asking the Chinese Communist Party to stop the persecution against Falun Gong and to stop the harvesting of organs from Falun Gong practitioners.
On November 4, 2006, people in Melbourne held a grand parade and rally to support the 15 million brave people who have quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
Member of the Australian Labor Party Dr. Carmen Lawrence attended the rally entitled “Join Together to Stop the CCP from Harvesting Organs of Living Falun Gong Practitioners”. She said that the persecution of Falun Gong is against the values respected in the 21st century.

Falun Gong practitioners from Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane held a rally and anti-torture exhibition in front of Parliament House in Canberra. They called on the Australian government to pay attention to the CCP’s atrocities of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners and take to measures to stop this crime against humanity.
